Dear Students,
Our school is involved in the Erasmus+ Project entitled:
“LET’S STOP CONSUMPTION FRENZY"
The aim of the project is:
· to improve our consumption behaviour
· to prevent unsustainable consumption
· to learn how production can become wise
· to increase competence in foreign languages and level of digital competence
· to develop knowledge among students and teachers of the diversity of European cultures and languages
· to improve intellectual, social, team-working skills and inter-cultural dialogue
participants:
Students and teachers from 5 countries: Romania, Spain, Turkey, Greece, Lithuania
target group in our school: STUDENTS in the 10th-11th forms
language of communication : English
Activities to be expected:
v designing posters and brochures
v creating the Erasmus+ corner at school
v carrying out a preliminary questionnaire on how conscious consumers the students are
v creating a ’FRUGALITY ROOM’ in our school – giving unused goods a new life
v creating a hobby-garden
v organising and celebrating 'BUY NOTHING DAY' (25th - 28th November) – sharing
successful attempts to resist buying foods or drinks for one day (videos, media)
